Behind the scenes of your very ordinary day, a spectacular event is taking shape. Just beyond the realm of what you can see with your eyes, though near enough to sense with your soul, this historic event is about to occur. It will happen when you least expect it, perhaps while you're at work, at school or in your bed. Without warning you will be startled by a deafening roar - then an ear piercing blast of a trumpet! Your eyes will see brilliant light and color as you are drawn to look up to see the sky ripped open and rolled back like a scroll.

Next you see the Son of God - Jesus Christ Himself - descending from Heaven in great power and glory. Can this be? Yes, it is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. He has come back as promised for His redeemed ones; those who have put their faith in Him and received Him as their Savior and Lord. What a glorious day for you! Or is it? Every person on earth will feel one of two extreme emotions in this moment. You will either be horrified or ecstatic. You are thrilled and ecstatic if you are one of His redeemed because you have been longing for this day. But oh, if you have rejected the gospel and have not turned your heart to Jesus to receive His forgiveness and free gift of eternal life; then this is a most horrible day for you. You will try to hide from Him but cannot. You will remember when you heard the gospel and had the chance to be saved but put it off. You will even remember the plea you are now reading in this newspaper to turn to Him, but you didn't.

Right now, it's not too late. Turn to Him with all your heart. Look at the world events around you! According to fulfilled Bible prophecy, the hour is late and we are at the end of the age just prior to Christ's return. Please be ready. Jesus died in your place to purchase you a pardon from God's wrath for your sin. God raised Him from the dead unto eternal life and He now offers you forgiveness and eternal life in Him; if you will humble yourself enough to ask Him for it and receive Him by faith. Don't wait; He doesn't want to lose you.

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."  (Luke 21:25-28)

"Jesus said, I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven." (Mark 14:62)

"And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll..." (Isaiah 34:4)

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat
